How blatant to paint a story of how we are actually in control of our own rhetoric – and one that says, by a hundred million miles, the most important person in your life – is you. The cryptic point I’m making is, it comes down to the individual. Plus just like Ferris Bueller – ’isms in my opinion are not good, and I will be a thousand shades of grey before I am black or white. I spent a large part of the last decade being borderline anti-feminist – which is a kind of feminist thing to do – so as not to hate on men, because somehow feminism came to mean that for a while. If we’re not making the same point in different ways then we’re changing it altogether, then changing it back again. And sometimes I wonder if they aren’t the two most important factors of life time and space.ĭespite seemingly unprecedented times there is nothing new under the sun, and that notion might have also been a worthy opening quotation contender, if not for being far too ironic – even for me. Distance has brought us closer proximity, divided us. Time has slowed down yet somehow disappeared. Oh how life has changed and stayed the same. ![]() That’s usually how I start one of these by stumbling upon some artful rhetoric I can steal to set the tone for a point I want to make. It’s taken me over three years to land on that quote.
